About Me
Welcome to Harmonizing Paws! I’m Paola, a certified canine massage therapist and veterinary professional originally trained in Argentina. I believe that every dog deserves to feel comfortable and happy, and through massage therapy, I support their health in a natural, non-invasive way.
With years of experience in animal care, I combine my knowledge and empathy to help dogs improve their well-being, manage stress, and recover better from physical tension or emotional discomfort.

Why a massage?
The origins of animal massage date back thousands of years and can be traced to ancient civilizations such as China, Egypt, Rome, and India. The Romans, renowned for their advanced equestrian culture, drew inspiration from Greek and Eastern influences, recognizing the importance of muscle relaxation and proper circulation for their horses. Early practitioners of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) also used massage techniques on animals to support their health, flexibility, and performance.
Today, massage therapy continues to offer numerous benefits for dogs of all ages and activity levels:
-
Improves blood and lymphatic circulation
-
Enhances mobility and flexibility
-
Supports the immune system
-
Relieves muscular tension and stiffness
-
Reduces anxiety and stress
-
Supports post-injury recovery
-
Provides comfort in senior dogs

Before Your First Visit
Before your dog’s first massage session, I will contact you by phone or email to learn more about your dog’s needs, health history, and personality.
This helps me provide the best care possible and ensure a safe, relaxing experience.
Please note that the first session may take a little longer, as it’s important to allow time for your dog and I to get to know each other in a calm and gentle way.
Once we’ve made contact, I will send you a short set of forms to complete before the appointment.
